What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper / Custodian position at Saint Anselm College?
Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, has immediate openings for full-time (40 hours per week) custodians/housekeepers. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm with occasional Saturdays and potential over time.
Duties involve general cleaning of an assigned campus building and event set-ups. Applicants should have the ability to lift heavy equipment such as a vacuum cleaner or floor buffer (l5-30 lbs.). Must have the ability to understand and follow written instructions, chemical labels and warnings.
High school education desirable. General knowledge and skills related to routine housekeeping with commercial/institutional cleaning experience desirable. Related experience in similar workplace setting a plus.
