Arena and Ice Rink Technician Saint Anselm College Campus Part time Posted 30+ Days Ago R1272 Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the benedictine tradition, is seeking a part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) Arena and Ice Rink Attendant. The Arena and Ice Rink Attendant is responsible for assisting the Arena Manager and supervisor in running the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena at Saint Anselm College to ensure superior operations, safety, fiscal health, and customer satisfaction. This position must display strong customer service skills when interacting with all arena constituents. Direct responsibilities include maintenance of the building and equipment, performing necessary janitorial duties, maintaining the ice rink surface using a Zamboni ice resurfacer and ice edging tools, monitoring operating systems and recording readings in appropriate logs, responding to customer needs in a courteous and efficient manner. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous manner and to provide quality customer service required. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Prior experience supervising others is a plus. Previous Zamboni or similar mechanical experience/ background highly desirable. High School graduate or equivalent, with related experience required.
