Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive developmental experiences for children across preschool, toddler, and infant care settings. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children with their activities, encouraging social interaction, exploration, and learning
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment at all times
- Provide attentive care during meal times, nap times, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers
- Support children with special needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and behavior management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus
- Classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social skills among young learners
- Familiarity with infant care routines, toddler care, and preschool activities
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime
- Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable; training can be provided if needed
- Minimum of 12 ECE courses
