Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Education (PE) Coach, located in Riverton, UT. The PE Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons for students across all grade levels (preschool through 8th grade). Key duties include creating a positive and inclusive environment, organizing sports and fitness activities, promoting teamwork, and fostering a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. Additional responsibilities include supporting extracurricular athletic programs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaboration with fellow educators and consistent communication with parents are integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in physical education techniques, fitness training, and sports coaching
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and positive environment that encourages teamwork and respect
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a school sports setting
- Previous experience in coaching or teaching physical education, preferably in a school environment
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or coaching credentials (preferred)
