What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - General Surgery Unit - Part Time Nights position at Saint Alphonsus Health System?
We are looking to hire Licensed Practical Nurses for our inpatient General Surgery unit in Boise! This position is for a part time night shift opportunity.
The Boise General Surgery Unit is a 32 bed unit that cares for patients across the full spectrum of acute care surgical procedures and trauma.
Schedule: Part Time Nights. Three 12-hour shifts over two weeks, 7pm to 7am.
*This position is eligible for a $1,500 sign on bonus for experienced LPNs and a $1,000 sign on bonus for LPNs with less than 1 year of experience. We also offer a generous relocation assistance depending on location.*

Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™ utilizes onsite virtual nurses (vRNs) to provide expert level support through technology. These experienced nurses communicate directly with patients via an in-room TV monitor allowing patients to have access to the care team at any time.
Bedside RNs and Care Partners are able collaborate with experienced vRNs.
Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™ provides mentoring and support for bedside nurses and care partners through the 24/7 support of the onsite virtual nurse. Our team model allows early career nurses to build confidence while providing complex care. What You Will Do
The LPN colleague (licensed) provides safe, quality health care services & assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures.
Provides nursing interventions & participates in the planning, implementation & evaluation of care
Performs delegated focused / holistic care autonomously according to care plan
Administers medication & carries out the therapeutic treatment within scope of license (state & TH policy)
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Practical Nurse (LPN) and as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network
