What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Cardiac Medical Unit - Full Time Nights position at Saint Alphonsus Health System?
We are looking to hire a night shift LPN for our Cardiac Medical Unit in Nampa, Idaho. This position will be located at our Level IV Trauma Center off I-84 and Garrity Blvd.
About this Position: LPNs working on the Cardiac Medical Unit will care for patients who need additional observation to rule out chest pains or outpatient status patients. It is a fast-paced, independent work environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training.
On CMU there are opportunities to get exposure to the Cath Lab as well as cardiac experience since both teams work very closely together.
Schedule: Full Time Nights, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week

License/CertificationRequirements:
Licensed in the State of Idaho or Oregon – whichever is the employees primary work location - as a Practical Nurse (LPN) and as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
