Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling, and cleanliness protocols
- Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, packaging, and stocking to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold a welcoming environment
- Support team members with food delivery and cashiering duties during busy periods to ensure quick service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks like lifting trays or boxes
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous but not required
