Description
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the areas of Breast (BR), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), Abdomen (AB), and Vascular ultrasound. The incumbent provides patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those examinations as well as Interventional procedures.
Requirements
Level III: must have three (3) years of clinical experience.
Level IV: must have five (5) years of clinical experience.
Level II: RVT or RVS registry is required.
Level III: RVT or RVS registry and at least one (1) additional American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) credential are required.
Level IV: RVT or RVS registry and at least two (2) additional ARDMS credentials are required.
$43.87 - $61.41

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program is required.
- Experience:
Level III: must have three (3) years of clinical experience.
Level IV: must have five (5) years of clinical experience.
- Recent ultrasound experience in Breast, Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Certification:
Level II: RVT or RVS registry is required.
Level III: RVT or RVS registry and at least one (1) additional American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) credential are required.
Level IV: RVT or RVS registry and at least two (2) additional ARDMS credentials are required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
- All levels are required to meet the corresponding Sonographer level requirements as listed in the departments "DIAGNOSTIC ULTRASONOGRAPHER PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM" Document.
