Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience.
- At least five (5) years of hospital maintenance, plant operations, or medical equipment management experience.
- Knowledge of The Joint Commission (THC), Office of Statewide Healthcare Planning and Development (OSHPD) standards, California state and local administrative codes, NEC, and NFPA is required.
- CHFM or equivalent professional certification/licensure (CHC, PE) preferred.
- Strong financial and operational management background.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents (plans and specifications).
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and agencies including EPA, NFPA, OSHA, TJC, and DNV.
- Extensive experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in healthcare settings.
- Ability to meet physical demands including frequent lifting (up to 30 pounds), walking, standing, and exposure to clinical environments.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
