Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of salads, appetizers, desserts and sweets, including cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and pastries
- Create new and interesting salads and appetizers
- Develop new and innovative recipes
- Decorate cakes and baked goods
- Clean and sanitize equipment and pantry areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a salad/pantry cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of gluten-free baking, sugar-free baking, and other ingredient limitations
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Available for early morning, afternoon and evening shifts
