General Manager

Saigon Hustle is a fast-growing, bold Vietnamese-American fast-casual restaurant concept in Houston, focused on serving fresh, flavorful food in a fun, fast-paced environment. We’re preparing to expand and are hiring an energetic General Manager immediately to lead our team and keep the hustle alive! • Lead daily operations and the team, ensuring smooth, efficient service and operational excellence every day.

• Serve as the go-to for customer service, making sure every guest leaves happy.

• Oversee food prep and make sure every meal meets our fresh, flavorful standards every time.

• Assist with hiring and training – help recruit new team members and onboard new hires as we grow.

• Train and work alongside your team in every station, learning the ins-and-outs of our entire menu and operation.

• Keep the restaurant clean and organized – from maintaining cleaning checklists to proper food rotation, you make sure everything is spick-and-span.

• Manage inventory and ordering of food, supplies, and other essentials so we never run out of what we need.

• Handle cash operations (deposits, cash tills) accurately and responsibly.

• Ensure all team members follow health, safety, and company policy standards – safety and quality come first.

• Collaborate with upper management on new initiatives and pitch in wherever needed – we’re all about teamwork!

• You have a high school diploma or GED (required) and 2–5 years of management experience, preferably in restaurant/food service.

• You’re a positive leader who can motivate a team and create a fun, productive work environment.

• You have excellent communication skills with both customers and staff.

• You’re extremely detail-oriented and organized, able to multitask and stay cool in a fast-paced environment.

• You’re a team player with a growth mindset – always looking for ways to improve, learn new skills, and help others succeed.

• You’re comfortable with technology – from basic Microsoft Office to point-of-sale systems.

• You’re reliable and punctual – we can count on you to show up on time and ready to hustle.

• You don’t mind getting your hands dirty – you’re able to be on your feet, use kitchen tools, and even lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

• You’re as passionate about great food and stellar customer service as we are.

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 Bonus
