Business Development Director - Port Drayage
Job Overview : Our transportation client located in Houston, TX is looking to add a Business Development Director to their Port Drayage division. This individual will be instrumental in driving strategic growth for the Supply Chain / Port Dray line, developing strategic plans to establish and expand relationships with new customers, enhance revenue streams, and ensure profitability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen ability to identify opportunities, lead initiatives, and close deals.
This is a Direct Hire role.

- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through strategic planning and prospecting efforts.
- Coordinate with the solution design team, relationship managers, and service offering owners to develop tailored client solutions.
- Prepare for and lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and the customer.
- Drive lead generation efforts by conducting proactive sales calls and follow-ups.
- Maintain ongoing interactions with customers, ensuring satisfaction and exploring opportunities for growth.
