Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios for enterprise web applications.
- Collaborate with QA, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand requirements and define effective test coverage.
- Build reusable automation components, utilities, and test libraries to improve execution speed and maintainability.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution across environments.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams for timely resolution.
- Maintain and enhance automation scripts as application features evolve.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce automation engineering best practices.
- Prepare and share test reports, execution metrics, and quality status updates with stakeholders.
- 6 years of experience in software testing/automation.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Proven experience in enterprise web automation.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of functional, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Practical experience with Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of performance testing and cross-browser testing.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
