Location: New York City | Hybrid (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
Duration: 6 Month Contract → Right to Hire
Target Start: Early 2026
Compensation: $70–80/hr W2 | Conversion Range: $150k–$175k
Overview
A leading investment firm is hiring an Infrastructure Project Manager to support infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This is a highly visible role within a small, elite IT team where collaboration, adaptability, and communication are critical.
This role begins as a 6 month consulting engagement with a clear path to full-time conversion. All candidates must be interested in converting to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
• Manage multiple concurrent infrastructure, cybersecurity, helpdesk, and finance technology initiatives
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
• Maintain dashboards, timelines, and ownership across projects
• Lead planning sessions, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates
Infrastructure & IT Operations
• Support transition to a third-party managed services provider
• Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors
• Assist with infrastructure-focused initiatives
• Support mobile device management and Active Directory efforts
Process Improvement
• Identify gaps and recommend practical solutions
• Build templates, workflows, and project playbooks
• Support automation and cross-team efficiencies
Finance Technology Support
• Partner with Finance and IT on process improvement and data integration
• Manage documentation, governance, and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
• 7 years of IT project or program management experience
• Strong infrastructure project exposure
• Proven ownership and independent execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
• Financial services or investment firm experience
• Infrastructure, cybersecurity, or finance transformation exposure
• Mobile Device Management and Active Directory familiarity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI, or SharePoint
• PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification
Interview Process
• 2–3 interview rounds
• Final round onsite in NYC, several hours in person
