Position Summary
Maintain plant equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Act and behave in a safe manner and comply with legislation and site safety rules.
- Respond to breakdowns as required.
- Assist with planned maintenance interventions.
- Take responsibility for equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues and breakdowns.
- Repair, replace, install and source appropriate parts.
- Communicate effectively with the entire plant team.
- Record important information and report on a monthly basis and ad hoc in special circumstances.
- Adopt and support the SMS philosophy.
- Log all work orders carried out in the Maximo maintenance system.
- Follow process for booking spare parts.
- Keep skills and qualifications up to date and relevant.
- Be available to flex schedule as needed for coverage.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the corrugated board packaging industry.
- Understanding of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- PLC experience is a plus.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently.
