The technical writer will be part of a close team that is required to achieve the customer's long-term vision, translating strategic intent into operational execution and ensuring the precision of executive communications across the complex, multi-faceted ecosystem required to achieve the customer's mission.

Description
SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer to serve on a Commander's Action Group (CAG) supporting our customer, MARFORCYBER and USCYBERCOM. The technical writer will be part of a close team that is required to achieve the customer's long-term vision, translating strategic intent into operational execution and ensuring the precision of executive communications across the complex, multi-faceted ecosystem required to achieve the customer's mission.
Job Duties
- Under general direction, edits and refines operational reports, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and assessment frameworks to ensure they meet the highest standards of clarity and precision.
- Coordinate with staff directories to synthesize raw technical data into polished executive summaries.
- Ensure all outward-facing communications are consistent with Combatant-level standards and higher headquarters' messaging.
- Drafts executive-level speeches, talking points, and white papers.
- Develop comprehensive technical summaries of AI capabilities for use in the Commander's decision process.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; four (4) additional years of work experience in lieu of degree
- Previous military Officer or Senior NCO with Cross-Functional Team experience (O-4/E-7 or higher) or Intelligence Professional with Cross-Functional Team experience (GG-13 or higher) preferred.
- Advanced expertise in technical writing and ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategic narratives within a military or intelligence environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior executives (General Officers/SES Level).
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph. Polygraph must have been completed within the last five years.
