Description
SAIC is seeking a motivated intern to support our Defense Agencies & Joint Missions (DAJM) portfolio and Solutions & Technology Group (STG). This role offers hands-on exposure to mission-focused solution development for Defense Agencies and Joint organizations, including work in areas such as digital engineering, data analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and cyber.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on Defense Agencies, Joint missions, customer needs, and technology trends.
- Support capture and proposal activities (drafting sections, organizing inputs, preparing slides and summaries).
- Assist STG teams with solution concepts, demos, and technical artifacts (notional architectures, use cases, diagrams).
- Prepare briefings and documentation for internal and customer-facing meetings; help maintain shared repositories.
- Participate in meetings and working sessions, capturing notes, actions, and follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Business, International Relations, Public Policy, or related).
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) is a plus.
- Demonstrated initiative, organization, and attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Interest in DoD, Defense Agencies, Joint operations, or national security.
- Familiarity with digital engineering, data analytics, AI/ML, cloud, or cyber (coursework or projects).
Salary : $40,000
