The position requires a proactive professional able to take on defined responsibilities independently and collaborate across technical teams to achieve program goals.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist with ensuring the Prime contractor’s deliverables, including mechanical drawings, meet program requirements through methodical reviews.
- Support the preparation and execution of Major Milestone Design Reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to aid in program decisions.
- Contribute to requirements management and traceability efforts using tools like DOORS to maintain the system's technical baseline.
- Participate in model updates and analysis using MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody) under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to address system verification activities and manage minor tasks independently with oversight.
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 2 years of engineering experience
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and workflows (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody).
- Basic experience in requirements tracking and systems engineering processes, including requirements traceability using DOORS.
- Background in verification and validation efforts for complex engineering systems.
- Familiarity with technical milestone review processes and government decision points.
- Experience with systems engineering and Agile tools (DOORS, JIRA, Confluence).
