SAIC is seeking rising juniors or seniors to join the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) for the summer of 2026, GMASS has Software Engineering internship positions available. These interns will be performing software support using C or Linux to resolve coding errors, assist in developing and updating code. Roles And Responsibilities Potentially Include

• Performs Software Engineering activities including requirements definition, system analysis, scripting to automate processes, and design, and systems integration.
• Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to review and resolve coding errors and develop new code
• Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents to develop specifications
• Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK
• Investigates anomalies and supports multidisciplinary teams for resolution

• System data structures and algorithms (sorting, linked lists, arrays, trees)

Qualifications

• Pursuit of BS in a STEM related degree field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
• Basic understanding of C and/or Linux
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• **Must be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance NOTE Federal law requires US citizenship to obtain a clearance
