We are looking for a detail-oriented leader with a thorough knowledge of the logistics tasks and products required in all phases of the DoD Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Life Cycle Management System. Additionally, the candidate will need to understand critical warfighting systems and optimize their designs and associated processes to ensure these essential combat products are useable and sustainable in the demanding military environment. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers on product supportability, analyzing product requirements, ensuring ergonomic and maintainable designs, optimizing workflows and processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that products meet the letter and spirit of the user's needs.

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented leader with a thorough knowledge of the logistics tasks and products required in all phases of the DoD Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Life Cycle Management System. Additionally, the candidate will need to understand critical warfighting systems and optimize their designs and associated processes to ensure these essential combat products are useable and sustainable in the demanding military environment. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers on product supportability, analyzing product requirements, ensuring ergonomic and maintainable designs, optimizing workflows and processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that products meet the letter and spirit of the user's needs.
Responsibilities include
- Reviewing schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
- Designing processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
- Developing design, production, and sustainment standards in cooperation with management and customers/users.
- Managing material and equipment lists, optimizing the supply chain, and supporting cost analyses (development, production, and sustainment).
- Support engineers with DMSMS and obsolescence issues
- Develop and produce Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Prediction Report and FMECA.
- Develop Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Develop Maintenance Plans (MP).
- Develop other Logistic Support Analysis Record data as needed.
- Support travel and logistics meetings as needed.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and ten (10) years of related experience. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with DoD's Integrated Logistics Support and its 12 elements
- Logistics Project Management experience.
- Must be familiar with Navy supply system and Navy aircraft maintenance system
- Must have an active Secret clearance or higher. In lieu of active clearance the candidate must be able to obtain one.
