Description

SAIC is seeking a SCA Drafter/CAD Operator II for a position supporting multiple projects at our customer location in Hanahan, SC. This position is 100% onsite.

As the Project’s Drafter, this individual will be required to have/be able to

• Familiarity with multiple CAD platforms including Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Convert and/or recreate Inventor files in SolidWorks.
• Learn multiple project’s Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs) as well as the interoperability of system components.
• The knowledge and drive to continuously improve the Project’s repository of Drawing files.
• Work with the Project Engineer to develop Drawings of components.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Track and communicate tasking status to supervisors and managers.
• Participate in quarterly Project Management Reviews and Physical Configuration Audits as necessary.
• Utilize industry tools/tracking applications for drawing reviews, version control and storage of Drawings with an extremely disciplined version/revision control.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience drafting/illustrating in the electronics field to include computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD.
  
  

Required Security clearance

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
