SAIC is seeking a Platform Engineer for the shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.

Job Duties
- Perform Platform Engineering SATCOM and data link support for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for shipboard C5ISR systems.
- Communicate to assigned Project Manager all key project SATCOM systems integration plans, and engineering changes including requirements, C5ISR systems configurations and status, schedule, and scope changes.
- Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s and nine (9) years or more relevant experience with one or more C5ISR systems listed below; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degrees
- Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Commercial Broadband Satellite Program and STING terminals
- Navy Multiband Terminal (AEHF, WGS, MILSTAR)
- Network Tactical Common Data Link (NTCDL)
- Digital Modular Radio (UHF SATCOM)
- Advanced Time Division Multiple Access Interface Processor
- Television Direct-to-Sailors
- Satellite Terminal (transportable) Non-Geostationary (STING)
- EHF SATCOM
- Global Broadcast Service (GBS)
- Satellite Signals Navigation Set (WRN-6V)
- Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security certification, or CSSIP or equivalent.
- Familiar with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.
- Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures
- Prior experience working in a Firm Fixed Price environment
- Prior experience providing support for a project in a shipyard environment
