Description
SAIC is currently seeking a Sustainment Support Specialist to support a U.S. Army Sustainment Cell in Fort Bliss, TX, Fort Hood, and in El Paso.
Job Duties:
- focus on providing logistical support and performing management functions pertaining to receipt, storage, distribution, stock record/warehouse and issue records.
- Assist with inventory management, operations, supply chain management, and materiel management.
- Responsible for the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal.
Qualifications
Required Educations and Experience:
- Bachelors and three (3) years of experience; four years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Security Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Army Logistics Systems at the BDE or above level
- Experience in G-Army
- Experience with EFLIPL
- Experience with the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP)
- Current/Prior service as a logistics Senior NCO, Logistics/Maintenance Warrant Officer, or S-4 or SPO Officer
- Strong writing and communication skills
