SAIC is seeking an Engineer Technician for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.
Job Duties
Utilizes specialized test equipment to complete C5ISR communications, networks, and sensor systems testing.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, system layouts using Autocad and PDF formats to perform test procedures development, system testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- AA Degree in related discipline and one (1) years or more relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Saferty/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System Or, High School and two (2) years related experience with relevant certification.
- Must have an active Secret clearance on first day of employment.
- Familiar with utilizing C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.
- Prior experience utilizing Autocad
- Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security certification, or CSSIP, Network , A or equivalent.
- Integrated Bridge System
- Gyrocompass (e.g., WSN-7)
- Surface Search Radars (e.g., AN/SPY-6, SPS-series)
- UHF, HF, VHF Marine Radios
- Shipboard Communication Cabinets
- Shipboard Alarms and Interior Communications (Safety, Warning Systems)
