Job Description
- Fabrication and assembly of prototype and production level military cables, harnesses, assemblies/sub-assemblies (IPC/WHMA-A-620), soldering (IPC J-STD), verification testing, and quality checks
- Assisting with technical solutions to engineering problems
- Research, design, development, modification, and evaluation of a variety of electronic equipment and systems using electronic principles, theories, and concepts
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- BS degree and two (2) years of related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of basic electronics, electronic components, and mechanical assembly
- Knowledge of military cable and harnessing, soldering, rework and repair of printed circuit assemblies (IPC certification a plus)
- Knowledge of electronic bench equipment such as power supplies, and multimeters
- Some experience troubleshooting of printed circuit assemblies to board level
- Capable of interpreting drawings, schematics, and work instructions to a class 3/military level
- Knowledge of basic hand tools to include crimping tools, electronic test equipment, voltmeters
- Capable of organizing workflow for multiple projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to operate fork lifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks and other basic shop equipment
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
