Job Duties
- Analyze and document existing electronics.
- Identifying and resolving design flaws or discrepancies identified during analysis and testing.
- Creating detailed design documentation, including schematics, circuit diagrams, and component selection.
- Communicating design ideas, technical challenges, and project updates to stakeholders.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field 4 years of experience as an electrical engineer or similar role.
- Circuit design Deep understanding of fundamental analog circuit building blocks like amplifiers, filters, comparators, and voltage references.
- Signal processing Knowledge of analog signal processing techniques like filtering, amplification, and signal conditioning.
- Power management Experience with designing power converters, voltage regulators, and power integrity considerations.
- PCB CAD Software Altium, Kicad, etc.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance; active DoD Interim Secret clearance or higher desirable.
- Simulation tools Proficiency in using analog circuit simulation tools like SPICE to analyze and optimize designs.
- Prototyping Hands-on experience with building and testing analog circuits on breadboards or PCB prototypes.
- Debugging Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in analog circuits using measurement equipment.
- Soldering Formal or practical training in hand soldering wires, connectors, protoboards, and PCB’s.
