Description
SAIC is seeking a Director of Army Intel, Space and Missile Defense Programs to interface with senior and mid-level customer officials, and other suppliers (both sub-contractors/competitors) located in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Successful Candidate Will

- Demonstrate competent and confident leadership and enhance SAIC’s presence by actively participating in business development efforts
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive and often multi-tasking environment
- Demonstrate an aptitude for leveraging diverse perspectives to plan and solve problems, develop and manage cooperative and productive partnerships among the program team (to include subcontractors and competing suppliers), and build trust via transparency and effective communication skills
- Demonstrate a natural curiosity to drive innovation, and a passion for client service and technology that inspires and motivates their program team
- Direct and lead delivery of program teams comprised of professionals with diverse skillsets (e.g., data scientists, operations research analysts, SW developers, architects, Army intelligence, multi-domain operations, readiness)
- Manage and ensure technical, schedule, cost, quality, and financial performance of program
- Manage program risk, customer relationships
- Actively develop and support organic growth opportunities
- Provide program staffing support and administrative staff management
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree with 18 years of experience
- Proven experience at managing one or more programs and managing effective delivery and continued growth across programs
- Demonstrated, sustained ability and reputation of delivering complex, prime integration services or systems engineering contract awards for government with values routinely reaching over $100M single-award deals which meet and exceed challenging goals and quotas
- Effective collaboration with executive leadership with proven success in delivering client solutions and building strong client relationships to foster continued growth
- Army experience with proven ability to understand ground warfighter needs and tying those needs to capability development
- Ability to build and work within high performance teams in a matrix-management environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills with strong skills in executive communication and ability to build strong relationships with Army customers
- Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% CONUS
