Description
SAIC is seeking a Simulation/C4I Integrator in Pearl City, Hawaii to support INDOPACOM in joint simulations, exercise design, architecture, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, issue coordination/resolution and technical SME during event tests and execution.
NOTE This position is Contingent Upon Funding.
Job Description
- Support to exercise communications design and execution of training events for the INDOPACOM Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) with a focus on Modeling and Simulation (M&S) systems that support end to end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.
- Coordinate with technical planners and engineers to design simulation and Common Operational Picture (COP) technical architectures and solutions to include cross-domain solutions (CDS).
- Operate computer models (or simulation) and C4I software and systems.
- Test and validate simulation solutions during the design and planning stages to ensure the solution works during technical tests (EFT, EOT) and during ECG Training and CPX/FTX execution.
- Coordinate with team to perform system tests, generate equipment plans, and packaging equipment for deployment to other countries.
- Builds set up and execution plans, SOPs, presentations, diagrams, technical documentation, floor plans, and training materials to ensure success at exercises.
- Sets up and provides required database, terrain, maps, and other products for event execution.
- Identify, establish, and maintain or replicate the datalink architecture and network design parameters required to connect the various exercise elements within the USINDOPACOM Joint Exercise Program (JEP) environment.
- Contribute to the production of accurate simulation models and architectures related to C4I software and systems leveraged in JEP Exercises.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree and five (5) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Model Interoperability (DIS, HLA, TENA).
- Experience with map and terrain data.
- Experience with C4I systems regarding administration, integration, interoperability, and architecture using OTH-G, Link 16, JREAP-C, etc.
- Experience configuring and deploying networked application.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Must be familiar with Link 16 planning in accredited planning systems for operational level warfighting exercises.
- Must have a current Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
Salary : $120,001 - $160,000
