School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
Sahuarita Speech Spot is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and organized Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position primarily supports students within a local southern Arizona school district while working alongside a supportive team that includes both SLP and SLPA collaboration.

This role includes a combination of direct therapy, evaluations, case management responsibilities, collaboration with school teams, and SLPA supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments, informal measures, observations, and educationally relevant data
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs
- Provide therapy services addressing articulation, language, social communication, fluency, voice, and other communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success across settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, METs, and other school-based meetings as needed
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs in accordance with Arizona state guidelines
- Support a positive, respectful, and student-centered therapy environment
Qualifications
- Current Arizona licensure and CCC-SLP certification required
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Experience or interest in neurodiversity-affirming practices, autistic communication styles, and child-led therapy approaches is highly valued
- Comfortable balancing direct therapy, evaluations, documentation, and case management responsibilities within a school setting
