Role and Responsibilities
Hosts are primarily responsible for ensuring our guests are greeted and have a positive experience as soon as they walk through the door. Examples of hosts responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers as soon as they walk in the door.
- Guiding guests to their tables.
- Taking reservations and answering the phone.
- Quoting proper wait times.
- Ensuring guests are seated in a manner that allows servers to properly take care of the guests needs.
- Making sure the lobby stays clean and presentable.
- Complete any side works prior to the end of your shift.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by your manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Good verbal communication and phone etiquette.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player and work well with management and servers.
Preferred Skills
- Prior customer service experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED
