What does a Resident Care Coordinator at Sagora do?
- Plan and delegate work assignments, ensuring effective scheduling
- Facilitate and encourage family involvement with residents
- Assist in the coordination of resident move-ins and move-outs and orientation of new residents to the community, ensuring a smooth transition for the resident and family
- Investigate resident and associate incidents, identify safety hazards, and institute corrective actions in a timely manner in coordination with the Resident Services Director
- Monitor resident service plans, record information to determine the quality of service to residents, and direct staff to implement needed changes
- Coordinate wellness activities and participate in the resident activity program
- Work with other members of the management team to market and manage the community
- Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in management and agency surveys
- Other duties as assigned
- Licensed CNA or CMA, preferred but not required
- Prior experience with senior adults and knowledge of regulations pertaining to assisted living communities preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and associates
- Strong written communication and computer skills
