What does a Here For You Caregiver at Sagora do?
- Provide residents with companionship - playing games, watching TV, etc.
- Remind residents to take medications, provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as showers and dressing
- Escort resident to appointments as needed
- Provide assistance with light housekeeping tasks, use of telephone, laundry, escort, transportation, and mail delivery
- Assist with casual, cosmetic assistance - hair brushing, make-up, nail polish
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional/cognitive condition
- Monitor for any environmental hazards and report any incidents, errors, accidents
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, projects, and committees as assigned
- CNA preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in caregiving role preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and associates
- Must be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary.
