About the Opportunity

Saginaw Retail Group is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team in Saginaw, Michigan.

We're looking for personable, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and helping customers understand products and services that fit their needs.

This is a full-time, W-2, in-person retail position with guaranteed hourly base pay of $16.00–$24.00 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn additional performance-based incentives.

Retail Sales Associates work face-to-face with customers inside an assigned retail location. Your day will include starting conversations, answering questions, learning about customer needs, explaining available products and services, discussing current promotions, and assisting customers throughout the purchase or enrollment process.

Previous sales experience is not required. We provide paid training and ongoing coaching to help new team members develop the product knowledge, customer service, communication, and retail sales skills needed to succeed in the position.

If you have experience in retail, customer service, restaurants, hospitality, wireless or electronics, guest services, or another customer-facing position, your skills may transfer well to this opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service
• Start conversations and identify individual customer needs
• Learn assigned products, services, features, and current promotions
• Explain available options clearly and accurately
• Help customers compare products and services
• Recommend appropriate options based on customer needs
• Answer customer questions and provide accurate information
• Assist customers throughout the purchase or enrollment process
• Maintain current product and service knowledge
• Build positive customer relationships
• Work toward individual and team customer service and sales goals
• Participate in paid training and ongoing coaching
• Maintain a professional presence within the assigned retail environment
• Represent Saginaw Retail Group professionally during customer interactions

Previous Experience That Pairs Well

Previous sales experience is not required.

We're interested in candidates who have developed strong communication, customer service, and people skills through a variety of customer-facing positions.

Pay & Compensation

Guaranteed Base Pay: $16.00–$24.00 per hour

This is a full-time, W-2 hourly position with weekly compensation.

Starting base pay within the posted $16.00–$24.00 per hour range is based on relevant experience, position responsibilities, and interview evaluation.

In addition to hourly base pay, employees may have the opportunity to earn additional performance-based incentives based on individual results.

Performance-based incentives are separate from hourly base compensation and are not guaranteed.

• Weekday availability
• Some evening and weekend availability may be required based on retail operating hours and business needs

Specific scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Paid Training & Development

Saginaw Retail Group provides paid training to prepare new Retail Sales Associates for the position.
