Restorative Aide (CNA)at Acacia Health Center
Starting Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00a-4:00p
Flu Vaccine required.

- Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
- Current Arizona CNA license required
- Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, and assist with resident transfers (up to 125 lbs) and push residents in wheelchairs or shower chairs
- Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart
- Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and ADON assist residents with therapeutic exercises and occupational therapy.
- Assist residents with transfers, gait training, active and passive range-of-motion exercises and helps residents improve or maintain a certain level of mobility and physical ability.
- Sets up necessary supplies and cleaning equipment and assist as needed under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and licensed physical therapist.
- Completes and documents monthly and daily weights on residents.
- Does appropriate charting on each resident to create a flow of continuing care.
- Provides updates to charge nurse and physical therapist about residents’ condition through observation.
- Documents the participation of resident(s) in scheduled therapy activities, their progress, and any difficulties.
- Plan and coordinate activities with therapy to help residents improve their physical condition and mobility.
Salary : $20 - $25
