Sagent Pharmaceuticals is looking to hire a Manager of Trade Relations Analytics in their Schaumburg, IL corporate officeThe Manager of Trade Relations Analytics will be actively supporting the VP of Trade Relations with various reports and analytics in support of our wholesaler and distributor customers. The TRA will be based in the Sagent Pharmaceuticals corporate office and will be assisting the VP of Trade on numerous projects ranging from wholesaler inventory and product stocking analysis to analyzing sales trends and product returns. The TRA will also support the Sagent commercial sales and national account teams, including Regional Business Managers (RBM’s), National Account Managers (NAM’s) and the Ophthalmology Sales Group on trade related analytics. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent and timely service and support to both internal and external contacts. The TRA will support the VP of Trade working in a collaborative environment to manage customer’s day to day requirements, needs and issues while maintaining Sagent’s standards of excellence. This will include targeted customer contact, to ensure all aspects of a seamless delivery of Sagent products and information are met, to better enable our sales and national account teams to succeed at the highest level.

Success in the role is measured on:

  • Excellent and timely internal service and communication with the VP of Trade.
  • Ensuring detail-oriented productivity to assist with all major wholesaler functions
  • Prioritizing specific functions based on sense of urgency.
  • Collaboration with VP of Trade to ensure the achievement of Sagent corporate goals.
  • Fast and focused execution of duties. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Daily deep dive analytics on current wholesaler product stocking levels vs forecast
  • Sales trend analysis to identify areas of concern pertaining to pricing or inventory stocking levels at distribution partner level
  • General communication with wholesaler personnel regarding stocking of products, assisting with resolving product description issues, maintenance of proper inventory levels at forward DC’s and general follow up.
  • Administrative support with regards to New Distribution Agreements, Terms and Conditions, specialty rebate contracts, etc
  • Analytical support pertaining to contract compliance, failure to supply claims, proper inventory maintenance and Value Centric Data Support.
  • Work collaboratively with Sagent Sales and Management teams in a support role. 
  • Occasional assistance with VP regarding trade show registrations & corporate presentations.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience: 

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and analytical skills. Proficient in all MS Office applications and preferably have experience with CRM / ERP systems and SFNet. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in their previous career of producing detailed and meticulous work.
  • Knowledge of the generic injectables industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of wholesalers, distributors (both general and specialty) Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN’s), multisource pharmaceuticals is highly desired.

Education / Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred emphasis on analytics. 
  • Minimum 4 plus years working in a professional corporate analytical environment. 
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare preferred.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office tools required. 
  • Successful applicant must pass a thorough background check. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
     

Travel Requirements

  • Corporate office based – Schaumburg, IL (currently hybrid – 3 days in office required)
  • Occasional customer visits as needed with VP of Trade. 
  • Attendance at Trade/Industry shows as needed.

Decision Making

  • Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department.

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
