Job Summary

Responsible for the professional installation of Jacuzzi shower walls, base, and fixtures, using industry “best practices” and in adherence with company installation guidelines and established time guidelines for both you and your assistant.

An Installer must be capable of lifting, when necessary, heavy materials into place to perform their job function.

In some cases, an installation will require the ability to work in a confined space and in various types of weather.

Most projects are completed in 1-2 days, occasionally a third day is required depending on the complexity of the installation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate product at installations
• Install structures or fixtures, such as Walk-in Baths, Walk-in Showers, Glass Doors, Wall Paneling, Pedestal Vanities, Trim or Hardware, etc., while using carpenters' hand or power tools
• Assist with other projects as needed outside of installation
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment, following company procedures, policies, and ethics
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace; using hand tools as needed
• Clean and haul away debris from all job sites. Maintain clean environment of job site, including vehicles and trailers; project tear off as needed
• Collect remaining payment from homeowner upon completion of installation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years carpentry experience
• Minimum 2 years electrical experience
• Minimum 2 years plumbing experience
• Must be professional, possess good leadership and communication skills.
• Display the ability to manage multiple priorities and have good customer service skills.
• Neat and professional appearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid licenses and clean background
• Ability to pass drug-screen
• Comfortable staying overnight in a company provided hotel when applicable
• Comfortable traveling to and from jobsite in company vehicle

Physical Requirements

·        Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, equipment, fixtures, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

·        Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, and climb while performing installation work.

·        Ability to work in confined, tight, or awkward spaces, including bathrooms, closets, crawl spaces, and areas around plumbing fixtures.

·        Ability to frequently work with hands and arms overhead and perform repetitive reaching, gripping, drilling, cutting, fastening, and other installation tasks.

·        Ability to safely operate and handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, and installation equipment.

·        Ability to maintain balance and work safely on ladders, step stools, uneven surfaces, and elevated work areas.

·        Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual accuracy.

·        Ability to safely move and position bathtubs, shower systems, wall panels, doors, plumbing components, and other installation materials.

·        Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, noise, moisture, temperature variations, construction materials, and typical job-site conditions while using required personal protective equipment.

·        Ability to travel to customer locations and work full shifts on active residential or commercial job sites.

·        Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
