The Quality System and Regulatory Engineer ensures that the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) and processes comply with internal, external, and regulatory requirements. This role bridges quality engineering and regulatory affairs, focusing on continuous improvement, compliance, and risk mitigation across product lifecycle and operations .

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and other applicable standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits (regulatory and certification bodies).
  • Maintain documentation such as quality manuals, SOPs, and control plans
  • Develop, implement and promote continuous improvements in all related local and corporate systems applicable to the activity
  • Identify gaps in quality systems and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead, coordinate and communicate with all related areas the Sage Audit plan including all required Internal, External and Regulatory activities.
  • Leads internal and 3rd party audits, including the necessary related areas.
  • Prepare, maintain, and report the different audit documents coordinating the necessary actions and follow up within Sage Team.
  • Coordinate the document control for all correlated specifications, standards and regulatory including interface with necessary resources to ensure up-to-date data.
  • Develop the different teams in Sage Glass towards to the Regulatory requirements ensuring organizational alignment at all levels.
  • Facilitate regulatory pathways for new products and changes to existing products.
  • Coordinate, validate and approve all validation and test plans, in coordination with the necessary areas to ensure product and process compliance with Internal, External and Regulatory requirements.
  • Work with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance during product development and manufacturing.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality and regulatory standards to internal teams.
  • Lead specific MWB projects related to Quality regulatory and systems topics
  • Evaluate and approve changes to processes and suppliers for compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology and/or Science Fields. Electrical, Chemical Mechanical or any Material related field is required.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of quality, development or manufacturing experience in the Glass industry preferred; in Quality Systems and/or Control Management and Implementation area, required
  • Quality Core tools: FA&FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP, Required
  • Customer and Regulatory Audits experience
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, and other Construction Glass industry local and global regulatory frameworks, required
  • Problem Solving Methodology and tools; Root Cause analysis and CA&CP systems required
  • Continuous improvement Experience Kaizen, 5S, World/or lean manufacturing concepts, 6 Sigma, preferred
  • Product and Process capability and measurement systems concepts MSA, CP/CPK, Reliability, preferred

  • Ability to manage and define priorities in a multi-task environment, organized and work plan oriented
  • Able to establish and maintain a positive working relationship in a multi-cultural work environment.
  • Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Systemic vision understanding the needs and strategies of the business

Certifications

  • Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor, preferred

Benefits In Joining Us

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
