About the Role:
The Host plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and organized environment for guests and staff within the establishment. This position ensures that all areas are clean, sanitized, and properly arranged to maintain a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The Host is responsible for managing guest interactions with professionalism and courtesy, facilitating smooth communication and order processing. By attentively handling order input and verification, the Host supports efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or food service or a quick learner.
- Basic proficiency with order input systems or point-of-sale technology.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as tables and chairs and cleaning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a host or in a similar hospitality role.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning and sanitization.
- Familiarity with reservation and order management software.
- Additional training or certification in customer service or hospitality.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of all public and service areas, including furniture, doors, windows, toilets, floors, mirrors, decorations, and fixtures.
- Assist with moving and arranging furniture to optimize space and comfort for guests.
- Accurately take and input orders, ensuring all details are checked and confirmed.
- Manage phone calls with professional etiquette, addressing inquiries and reservations.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor and restock supplies related to cleaning and guest services as needed.
