Duties

• Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, shoulder straps and hand carry.
• Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper packing materials and methods
• Wrap furniture with shrink wrap and blankets ensuring goods are protected properly for transit and stacking
• (Driver Position) Operate box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adhering to traffic laws
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and stacking items properly, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices
• Drive route vehicles for local deliveries, maintaining accurate delivery logs via mobile devices or route management systems
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and friendly with clients during pickups and deliveries

Requirements

• (Driver position(Higher Pay)) Valid driver’s license with preferred experience in commercial driving, including van or box truck operation
• Experience with delivery driving, courier services, or mobile vehicle delivery is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely of 50 pounds or more while following safe lifting practices and manual handling standards.
• (For drivers) Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling in the workplace is essential
• Comfortable operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow routes accurately and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, friendliness and professionalism

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 50.0 per week
