Responsibilities
Assist dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized. Take X-rays and utilize advanced medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records using an electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the clinic. Perform chairside assisting duties including taking vital signs, explaining procedures to patients, and providing comfort during treatments. Operate dental equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards related to anatomy knowledge and infection prevention. Coordinate with the dental reception team to schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks related to medical documentation and records.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
