Scaling Sage is our top strategic priority. As a Solution Consultant, you’ll act as a matchmaker connecting millions of small and medium-sized businesses to the software solutions that Sage offers. Working alongside Account Executives, you’ll uncover customer needs and demonstrate how our products can support their ambitions. You’ll represent software that combines decades of trusted expertise with modern tools like Sage Ai. Our software makes work easier and more efficient for our customers – that’s why they love it.
Uncapped earnings:
Our compensation structure includes a base salary plus commission. We believe that if you put in the work, you should be rewarded for it.
10 paid days for volunteering and learning:
Through Sage Foundation, you can donate your skill-based support or manual labor to causes you care about 5 days per year. Another 5 days per year can be invested in engaging in learning opportunities that interest you, because we care about your development at Sage.
This role will be a part of our nonprofit vertical and will serve Pacific, Mountain and Central time zones.
Summary of your day-to-day:
Your days will be a blend of digging into what prospects and customers need and crafting tailored demos that show how Sage can enable their success. You’ll also support sales on discovery calls and build compelling ROI cases. Your product expertise will make you a trusted advisor and give you an edge in designing solutions. Working cross-functionally, you’ll meet go-to-market plans, hit budget targets, represent Sage at industry events, grow pipelines, and strengthen customer relationships.

- Average time for demos to convert to opportunities
- Total value of pipeline influence of deals progressed
- Average time to demo readiness
- Quality of customer engagement
- Percentage of CRM accuracy
- Proficient in accounting practice and financial systems
- Experience delivering value-add presentations and demos
- Skilled in solution-driven communication
- Strong cross-functional teamworking experience
- Experience in a pre-sale’s role, implementation consulting or customer support for an accounting/ financial software application.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Background in NFP, Government, Healthcare or SAAS is a plus
