As our Account Executive at Sage – (Sage for Accountants), you will be responsible for generating revenue through new Sage Accountants Network members, upselling, and cross-selling. Every day, you will prospect and qualify leads: Identify and engage potential Sage for Accountants members through targeted outreach, networking, and inbound inquiries. To thrive in this role, you must possess the aptitude to easily engage and establish rapport with decision makers and line of business professionals, understand a customer’s business environment and needs, and apply the business value of Sage’s solutions.

- This is a hybrid office environment that meets 3 days a week in the Lawrenceville, GA or Ponce City office in Atlanta**
- Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs of accounting professionals and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of Sage for Accountants.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine acquisition strategies.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on acquisition metrics, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
- Familiarity with expense management, accounting workflows, or ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and exhibit these concepts in presentations and webinars.
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Ability to travel at least 10% for trade shows and customer events.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience selling to finance departments or mid-market/enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or Xero.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
