The ideal candidate:

· State RVT license preferred, but not required

· Previous Specialty experience preferred

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Passion for helping people and their pets

About the role:

· The role involves a variety of responsibilities including radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, patient recovery, and providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients.

· The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

· Day shift, Tuesday-Friday

· Compensation is based on skillset and education, ranging from $32 to $45 per hour. We offer shift differentials for swing and overnight.

Basic Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma

· 2 years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry

· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate

· Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations

· Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
