Responsibilities:
- Travel to properties on an as-needed basis to greet prospective residents and provide tours of available units, showcasing the unique features and amenities of each location.
- Step in to assist prospective residents with the leasing process, including completing applications, conducting credit and background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information about pricing, availability, and leasing policies while adapting to property-specific protocols.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective residents at each assigned site, addressing concerns or issues with corporate-level professionalism and timeliness.
- Collaborate with on-site property management teams to assess needs, implement effective leasing strategies—such as marketing campaigns and resident referral programs—and provide hands-on training to local leasing staff.
- Conduct rapid market research at each location, staying informed about local trends and competitor offerings to ensure competitive pricing and positioning.
- Maintain organized leasing records and documentation at every property, ensuring full compliance with fair housing regulations, company policies, and corporate reporting standards.
Qualifications:
- Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least Three (3) years of experience in leasing
- Strong professionalism, communication and “people skills”
- Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
