Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant ($80,000-90,000 discretionary bonus)

Sage Search Partners is seeking a Tax Accountant for a boutique family office/financial advisory firm located in North Dallas. In this role, you will focus on a broad range of tax compliance work for entities and high net worth individuals while supporting the firm’s growing client base.

The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of public accounting tax experience with hands-on exposure to returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals, along with an accounting degree and a strong aptitude for learning new systems (CCH Axcess experience is required. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and high net worth individual clients.
• Assist with tax compliance and related schedules for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
• Support senior tax professionals with gathering and organizing client data, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
• Research basic tax issues as needed and help implement practical solutions under the guidance of more senior team members.
• Collaborate with team members in a public accounting-style environment to meet filing deadlines and deliver high-quality client service.

Client Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Approximately 1–2 years of tax experience in a public accounting environment (public-to-public background strongly preferred).
• Exposure to preparing returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals.
• Experience with CCH Axcess tax software required.
