Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Controls
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid 3/2)
Compensation: ~$140–180K base bonus
A growing, well-capitalized financial services group is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager of Accounting to lead internal control implementation and execution, elevate GAAP reporting, and help build a right-sized, modern environment. This role sits on a small, high-impact finance team with direct access to executive leadership and a clear path to broader responsibility as the company continues to scale.
What You’ll Lead
- Work directly with consultants to design and implement internal controls and ensure an operationally effective environment
- Build and refine process, entity-level, IT-dependent, and close-related controls
- Manage coordination with consultants and external auditors; track remediation
- Drive monthly/quarterly/annual GAAP close and prepare high-quality reporting
- Develop and maintain accounting policies; monitor emerging guidance
- Improve close timelines, strengthen reconciliations, and reduce manual work
- Partner cross-functionally across investments, tax, treasury, and operations

Ideal Background
- 8 years experience, including a strong public accounting foundation
- CPA highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and testing internal controls
- Advanced Excel and comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving environment
Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
