Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including vital signs and medication reconciliation to ensure accurate clinical documentation.
- Assist with medical procedures such as vaccine adminstration, venipuncture, EKGs, and medication administration following sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) to document patient information accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
- Support triage activities by evaluating patient needs, prioritizing care, and providing first aid or emergency interventions as necessary.
- Refilling medicaton, ordering diagnostic testing, and completing prior authorizations.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication instructions.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or certification as a Medical Assistant with relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for seamless documentation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver interaction and client education; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding is advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
