Job Overview
Sage Leaf Incline Village is seeking an outgoing, energetic, and skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a positive guest experience, mix classic and creative cocktails, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar in a fast-paced environment. Being a positive person who enjoys taking care of guests along with being a team player is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and wine.
- Assess customer needs and recommend beverages or food items.
- Prepare ingredients for drinks (slicing fruit, preparing garnishes).
- Mix drinks according to standard recipes and company specifications.
- Check identification to verify legal age for alcohol consumption.
- Process payments using the POS system and manage tabs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area, including washing glassware.
- Replenish inventory and restock bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Build rapport with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Must be able to take tables in addition to waiting on bar patrons
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender (1 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mixology, garnishing, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20–50 pounds.
- Valid state-mandated alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
