Mainframe Architect

Position: Mainframe Architect

Role Description:

• Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEAL Datacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)

Key responsibilities:

• Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEAL Datacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all) Participate in code migration and data transformation efforts as part of rehosting Collaborate with architects and cloud teams to support GCP-based modernization Support batch job execution, console monitoring, and production control Understanding of interfacing systems, ongoing projects Provide critical inputs to the migration teams and guidance during the course of migration.
