The General Manager of Food and Beverage at The Oxford Hotel is responsible for successfully driving all food and beverage operations; including banquets, culinary and restaurant outlets. Ensures high food quality and service levels while maximizing revenue, accurate forecasting and budgeting. Ensure accurate inventory controls are implemented, menus are continually updated and food costs are kept in line. Develop and implement annual budgets and marketing plans to penetrate new sales opportunities and maximize use within existing markets. Must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and team building skills with associates, peers and across departments.
A four-year college degree or interaction education/experience

Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food & beverage/hospitality profession. This includes the knowledge required for management of people, complex problems and food and beverage management.

The General Manager of Food and Beverage at The Oxford Hotel is responsible for successfully driving all food and beverage operations; including banquets, culinary and restaurant outlets. - Manage all human resources functions within the Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, etc.).
- Direct and oversee recruitment, hiring, training, development, empowerment, coaching, counseling, performance and salary reviews.
- Resolve conflicts in accordance with company policy; administer progressive discipline and termination when appropriate.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence.
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the division’s annual budget, forecasts, business plans, and operational objectives to meet or exceed financial and guest satisfaction goals.
- Monitor labor costs, productivity metrics, and departmental expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.
- Implement and manage all company and/or franchise programs to ensure compliance with brand standards and SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain optimal levels of quality service, cleanliness, and hospitality throughout all rooms division areas.
- Partner closely with the Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership teams to ensure seamless guest experiences across rooms and outlets, particularly for group business, VIP arrivals, special events, and in-house activations.
- Collaborate with Engineering/Property Maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance programs, room inspections, asset protection, and timely resolution of facility-related concerns.
- Work in alignment with Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing to maximize occupancy, drive ADR, and ensure operational readiness for group and transient demand.
- Participate in daily operations meetings to ensure cross-functional communication, service consistency, and quality control.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor service scores, online reputation platforms, and internal quality audits; implement action plans to address opportunities.
- Conduct routine inspections of guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to protect the asset and uphold brand standards.

- Must possess excellent speech communications for guest, corporate, vendor and associate interaction, 100% of the work day.
- Must be literate for written guest communication, administrative and Human Resource responsibilities.
- Requires excellent reading and writing abilities 100% of the work day.
